Japan-funded solar power systems for schools in Vietnam
This is the first system in a total of 10 projects funded AEON Environmental Foundation for schools in Ho Chi Minh City.
With a total value of $ 500,000, this program will install the power system solar energy at 10 high schools in Ho Chi Minh City to contribute to promoting and popularizing the use of recycled resources, use of environmentally friendly energy.
System power panels are installed within the campus, will help schools save 40% electricity bills to pay each month.
According to Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Le Manh Ha, in addition to saving the cost of electricity, this program will contribute to education with a vivid sense for students to use resources recycled materials and renewable energy sources to protect the environment, and offshore resources for ideas, innovative science in the younger generation of environmental protection activities in the future.
At the ceremony, the AEON Environmental Foundation and the Department of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh City has officially signed a cooperation system deployment solar power for schools in the city.
Since 2009, AEON Environmental Foundation has awarded power system solar energy for 15 schools in Japan. In ASEAN, Vietnam is the second country AEON Environmental Foundation funded this system after Malaysia. /.
