The dam wind power plant has a scale of 9.6 hectares in Bac son commune, Bac Phong (Thuan Bac District) and Tan Hai commune, phuong Hai (Ninh hai District) with capital 1,523 billion VND. The project as a joint venture owner is the TSV Corporation (Ho Chi Minh City) and the Blue Circle Company (Singapore) in coordination. On 22/9, the investor made the correct commitment to complete phase 1 by installing a complete 3-cylinder turbine, capacity of nearly 8 MW and completing the inclusion of the national power transmission network.

As expected, in early 2018, Phase 2 of the project continues to deploy. If keeping the speed steady execution as Phase 1, scheduled around April 10/2018, the entire 15 turbines of the dam wind power plant will go into operation, lifting the total capacity of the project to 40 MW. According to the evaluation of the science, Ninh Thuan has little storms, the wind intake is evenly over 10 months in the year with a speed of 6, 4m/S-9, 6m/s making sure the wind turbine generators. Now Ninh Thuan is a lot of domestic and foreign investors interested in investing in renewable energy fields such as wind power.
